What You’ll Get to Do:

As a member of the client’s Audit Services and Compliance Team, the candidate will work across the organization to assess Program Management Office (PMO) and Oracle eBs solution compliance with applicable Federal, Department of Defense and Defense Agency accounting and financial management laws, policies and regulations. The candidate will also support on-going external audit and Department audit readiness activities, including providing Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) expertise and solution assessment.

Expected duties include:

  • Evaluating the Oracle ERP solution for compliance with applicable Federal laws, regulations and policies

  • Performing Compliance Readiness Assessment of the DAI solution to assist in planning and preparation for future compliance audits

  • Assessing solution audit readiness and evaluating internal control processes

  • Performing risk assessments to identify potential DAI risks and mitigation strategies

  • Evaluating proposed GRC solutions and developing solutions for identified DAI operational and tactical risks

You’ll Bring these Qualifications:

  • Prior experience assessing/auditing Federal Financial Management solutions and processes for compliance with applicable laws, regulations and statutes

  • Prior experience planning and executing Compliance Readiness Assessments

  • Prior experience planning and implementing risk management activities in for financial management in Federal or Defense workspace

  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and policies specific to Financial Management/Accounting solutions designed and implemented for Federal or Defense customers

  • As a team member, have the ability to independently identify tactical and operational solutions

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years related experience

  • Current DoD Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with DoD, DAI and DFAS financial processes and procedures

  • Experience assessing compliance with DoD Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA), FFMIA, FISCAM, FMR, and similar Federal and DoD laws, regulations, and policies

  • Experience with two or more Oracle Federal Financials process areas (specifically with the DAI business functions of Acquire to Retire, Budget to Report, Cost Accounting, Order to Fulfill, Procure to Pay, and Time and Labor) and/or the Oracle GRC application suite

  • Federal consulting experience identifying tactical and operational solutions, preferably in a DoD environment
