CACI International Electronics Technician in Fayetteville, North Carolina
CACI is seeking a Electronics Technician for our program located in Fayetteville, NC. If you are wanting to work with a motivated team to coordinate the integration and production of systems in support of our Armed Forces, CACI would like to speak with you!
What You’ll Get to Do:
Co-ordinate in-bound shipment of return products, internal processing of the Return Material Authorization (RMA) products and out-bound shipment of repaired products for assigned product lines.
Receive authorized returned products in the government database. Ship equipment in government database.
Perform initial inspection of return products for any shipment and/or visual damage. Verify part numbers and serial numbers for equipment accountability.
Maintain and update government database and excel reports for every item received, repaired and shipped.
Prepare requisitions for purchasing to contract repair services with vendors.
Interface with customer RMA representatives for updates of repair inventory, repair estimated time of arrival (ETA) and outbound shipment tracking.
Initiate maintenance testing work orders for returned equipment. Monitor testing process and assisting in setting priorities as required.
Communicate with production operators, warehouse personnel, and testing teams in relation to repairing and testing products. Follow up and report RMA statuses as required.
More About the Role:
Will be responsible for reviewing work orders daily to ensure any open action items are being worked.
Processing RMAs in government database (COLTS).
Processing Outgoing RMAs.
Processing Incoming RMAs.
Maintain RMA Equipment Storage.
Provide Customer with weekly status on all RMAs and purchase requests (PRs).
Prepare and Submit Teardown and Inspections PR forms.
Obtain Approval from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for all RMA repairs.
Track, Label and Process Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services (DLADS, formerly DRMO) equipment through DLADS Facilitator and COLTS
Manage Equipment Calibration
Complete Shipping Request Documents
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Formal electronics training from Technical School, Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program. Formal electronics training should include installation tasks, soldering, cable dressing, cable tray, conduit, and making/repairing connectors
Two (2) years of practical experience, to include electronics repair, maintenance and checkout
Active Secret clearance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Organizational and effective communications skills
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Experience with Logistical Operations
