CACI International Field Service Satellite Technician in Fayetteville, North Carolina
CACI is seeking a Field Service Satellite Technician to support a large contract-based out of Fayetteville, NC. You’ll focus on the installation, operations, repair, and training of very small aperture (VSAT) communications systems with a focus on shipboard communications installation and operations. What You’ll Get to Do:
Provides hands-on assistance involving troubleshooting and diagnostic support for all related systems, equipment failures or service issues
Provide Life Cycle Sustainment and Maintenance (LCSM) support
Provide daily and/or weekly, and as needed, deliverables depicting support provided to our customers
Generate and maintain work orders and shipping/return of OCONUS and CONUS equipment requiring maintenance utilizing the program’s logistical database software
Provide installation, operation, and maintenance training and troubleshooting to personnel
Deploy, as needed, for short term assignments to OCONUS locations
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
An Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
Ten (10) years of hands-on experience with Joint Warfighter C4ISR systems to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training
Must be able to pass a CRC deployment physical
A self-starter and proven experience of accomplishing the mission with minimal oversight
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Experience configuring Cisco routers and switches
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Troubleshooting skills using satellite simulation test equipment
Knowledge in HAIPE encryption devices, BGAN and INMARSAT networks, and LAN/ WAN
