What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is looking for an Industrial Security Officer to join our team of passionate security professionals in our Florham Park, NJ office. Will provide administrative support to the security team in all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and other security-supported activities. The Industrial Security Specialist supports the Security Department in all areas of personnel security and assists in ensuring proper personnel security procedures are followed in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives, Corporate Policies, and government regulations and directives.

More About the Role:

  • Support all aspects of the NISP and other security activities within the facility to include, but are not limited to, personnel security, physical security, security awareness programs, information assurance and other NISP and contract security requirements.

  • Provide assistance with the employment security pre-screening process.

  • Coordinate with Program management and Talent Acquisition Team to ensure employees are notified to begin the security clearance process.

  • Assist employees with the completion of their security clearance documentation.

  • Review, track and monitor security clearance processing activities with the appropriate government agencies and keep managers informed on the progress of their employees’ clearances.

  • Track, notify and process employees for their periodic reinvestigations.

  • Establish and maintain employee security files for all cleared personnel.

  • Work with Corporate badging for employee badges and administer an access control system.

  • Process incoming/outgoing visit requests and certifications.

  • Process foreign travel requests for cleared personnel.

  • Provide Visitor Control support to include identification checks, clearance verifications and escorting VIP Visitors/Guests, as required.

  • Respond to all administrative and customer personnel security inquiries.

  • Support the implementation of the Security Awareness Education Program

  • May coordinate and conduct initial security briefings, program specific security briefings, foreign travel briefings and refresher training.

  • Support the FSO's liaison with DCSA, as well as other DoD and IC agencies.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Typically has a Bachelor’s degree or Associates/Vocational/Technical education or equivalent work experience.

  • Excellent written and oral communications and teamwork skills.

  • Self-starter able to take initiative within a fast paced, agile environment.

  • Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Well organized and confident to work independently but be a strong team player.

  • Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and multi-task on a variety of initiatives.

  • Must be self-motivated and results oriented.

  • Clearance Required: Current Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with Poly.
