Under direct supervision develop software and tools in support of applied research and technology with a focus on wireless communication and network protocols.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop software designs based upon provided specifications
Write software for real time embedded systems or networked servers
Test and verify software modules to ensure requirements are met
Author design, interface, and test documentation
Work collaboratively within a larger team setting
Travel to other CACI Locations or Customer Sites as necessary
Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to CACI policies and procedures
Perform other duties as required
Obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the job
Skills and Knowledge:
Language skills including C/C++, scripting (e.g. Python, Perl, Bash), Object Oriented Analysis and Design. Familiarity with C++11 and C++17 features a plus.
Familiar with developing software for Linux and Windows.
Ability to rapidly prototype protocols and applications
Object oriented architecture, programming and programming methods
Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required
