Job Description

Under direct supervision develop software and tools in support of applied research and technology with a focus on wireless communication and network protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop software designs based upon provided specifications

  • Write software for real time embedded systems or networked servers

  • Test and verify software modules to ensure requirements are met

  • Author design, interface, and test documentation

  • Work collaboratively within a larger team setting

  • Travel to other CACI Locations or Customer Sites as necessary

  • Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to CACI policies and procedures

  • Perform other duties as required

  • Obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the job

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Language skills including C/C++, scripting (e.g. Python, Perl, Bash), Object Oriented Analysis and Design. Familiarity with C++11 and C++17 features a plus.

  • Familiar with developing software for Linux and Windows.

  • Ability to rapidly prototype protocols and applications

  • Object oriented architecture, programming and programming methods

  • Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required
