CACI International Acquisition Analyst IV in Fort Belvoir, Virginia
CACI is seeking an Acquisition Analyst IV to provide pre-award and post-award acquisition support to an Army Acquisition Office in the Fort Belvoir area. This position will manage program budget activities and provide the office with financial analysis of funding executions to determine if program is meeting OSD goals. This position will develop Acquisition Requirements Packages (ARPs) and support the DOD acquisition process.
What You'll Get To Do:
Serves as a company expert to acquisition clients
Oversees the analysis of the most complex problems relating to government acquisition and program management
Performs original research to conceptualize program strategy or innovative acquisition designs that maximizes effectiveness
Develops and updates organization policy, practices or automated systems to incorporate changes in statute, economic conditions or best practices in use in the industry
Understands all integrated aspects of acquisition cycle from basic research to production and test
Trains clients and CACI personnel on new systems and policy changes
Provides functional guidance on more complex projects
Uses automated systems and mentors others on contract writing, reporting, and technical performance analysis
Leads Community of Practice within an acquisition specialty
Responsible for knowledge management or knowledge presentation systems relating to that Community of Practice
Provides creative leadership from knowledge of industry best practices and most current developments in acquisition
Works with senior management to identify important acquisition issues
Researches and recommends acquisition policies and procedures
Provides regular reporting to senior management on acquisition issues
May oversee creation of procedures and communication material that document acquisition practices
May lead team or work as single consultant to client
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 10-12 years of related experience. (Master's degree and professional certification preferred)
Understand DoD funding appropriations
Skilled at applying acquisition-streamlining techniques
Skilled at documenting process change and at writing white papers to capture new concepts or specialized applications
Army acquisition experience and experience developing acquisition requirements packages (ARPs), experience preparing MIPRs money transfer, experience with Army acquisition documentation, PWS, IGCE, Acquisition plans, acquisition strategy and J&A
These Qualifications Will be Nice to Have:
Highly desirable to have prior experience supporting electronic sensor systems or similar technical products; prior experience supporting Army officers (MAJ; LTC; COL) and collaborating with System Acquisition Manager, systems engineers, cost analysts, logisticians, and trainers
Prior experience in Milestone B, Milestone C, and product sustainment for electronic systems is rated highly
