This position supports the Army PEO Soldier Project Manager Soldier Sensors and Lasers organization located in Fort Belvoir Va. The Acquisition Logistician will provide technical/management leadership, direction and control activities. Manages acquisition activities, formulates and recommends solutions for complex problems, responsible to modify or improve processes (continuous improvement), communicates across the organization and with outside stakeholders possesses broad leadership or management knowledge.

What You’ll Get to Do:
Apply your expertise in Logistics and DoD Acquisition to support ILS and sustainment planning.
Demonstrate your expertise in ACAT I and ACAT II programs to develop and make updates to LCSP, LSA, LORA, FMECA, PBL, MANPRINT, TPF, and RPSTL documents.
Support Type Classification and Material Release processes, support configuration audits, and develop training plans that develop POI, IETMs, and TMs. Your strong interpersonal skills will facilitate your active participation in IPTs and in critical program reviews.
Active SECRET clearance required.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must have an active DoD Secret or above clearance.
Understanding of DoD 5000 series requirements and US Army documentation requirements.
DAWIA Level III Certification Or higher certification or Equivalent.
Demonstrated technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, and able to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
Working knowledge of SharePoint.
Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work with others.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 10 to 12 years of related experience.
- Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
