What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is currently looking for outstanding Information Security Engineer (Lead) candidate to join our Architecture, Operations, Networks, and Space (AONS) team supporting the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G-6 in the National Capitol Region. CACI provides analytical and technical services to the Army DCS, G-6 enhancing their User Activity Monitoring efforts.

In this position, you will be implementing and applying technologies, processes, and practices designed to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from malicious attack, damage, or unauthorized access. Using could-based network device and tools, you will be able to identify and report security incidents to proper authorities.

You will be required to provide Technical and Programmatic support for Army User Activity Monitoring (UAM) Teams. Coordinate with the Planning Lead for the day-to-day planning and execution of all contract deliverables. Attends formal meetings as required (e.g. Technical and Programmatic). Adhering to Policies, Standards and Requirements for Army UAM Program. Keep the team up-to-date on issues and concerns related to specific tasks. Provides briefing material as required to support the program.

More About the Role:

  • Support the establishment of a SAP Insider Threat Program and implementation of an independent, cloud-hosted System and User Activity Monitoring (S/UAM) to monitor system and personnel activity to deter, detect, and mitigate potential Insider Threats (InTs) before posing a danger to Army SAP information and/or Information Systems (IS).

  • Assist the Government in strengthening the Army's S/UAM collection and analytical capabilities by reviewing existing operational capabilities and recommending modifications, enhancements, and new techniques, along with processes, procedures, or technology changes to improve its operational effectiveness.

  • Review S/UAM audit alerts and create Incident Assessment Reports (IARs) as directed.

  • Strengthen the DCS, G-6's SAP program by applying technical expertise and experience to make suggestions aimed at improving existing S/UAM policies.

  • Research and develop policy, and governance documentation.

  • Develop SOPs, TTPs and other required artifacts to support the planning, development, implementation and oversight in support for Army SAP Enterprise Modernization.

  • Generate program metrics.

  • Provide Technical, Logistical and Programmatic support for Army SAP Enterprise Modernization.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 7-9 years proven experience managing contract employees over multiple shifts, handling personnel issues, shift scheduling, and time card management.

  • 7-9 years of proven excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to build complex technical briefings, and the ability to liaison with high-level executives internal and external to the customer site.

  • Proven IT project management experience to include building project plans, developing status reports, and other workflow management deliverables.

  • Demonstrated experience with the various SIEM tool suites to include administration, policy, and investigative workbench experience.

  • Experience as a UAM, CND, Insider Threat, or Cybersecurity Analyst.

  • Experience working in a security operations center (SOC), Network Operation Center (NOC) or analysis center, preferably within the Department of Defense or intelligence community.

  • Must Have TS/SCI

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Army Headquarters Experience

  • Experience supporting the Army DCS, G-6 is desired.

  • Relevant Army or other DOD Special Access Program experience
