What You’ll Get to Do:

Join CACI in supporting the U.S. Army Chief Information Office (CIO)/G-6 to lead the Army’s network modernization to deliver timely, trusted, and shared information for the Army and its mission partners.

More About the Role:

As a team member supporting AONS CIO/G-6, you will provide technical services to include planning, program, budget, and analytical services to aid in resourcing critical Army command, control, communications, computers (C4) and IT needs. You will also provide recommendations for how the CIO/G-6 can synchronize technology and business management to enable better execution, risk control, and efficiencies for the Army.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:


  • Provide technical, analytical and management expertise to the Army CIO/G-6 Enterprise Architecture to support the planning, development, and oversight and implementation of Enterprise Architectures to include but not limited to architecture development, assessment, and integration; project planning and management; engineering analyses; process documentation and development; and resource planning and analysis.

  • Provide architecture support using Agile Methodology (including but not limited to SCRUM) expertise facilitating daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings to ensure quick inspection and proper use of adaptation process.

  • Provide coaching in Agile practices, processes, and tools for virtual and in person teams.

  • Provide expertise operating Agile project management software packages such as (but not limited to) JIRA ©.

  • Provide architecture development support to cross functional team (CFT) partners within a freestyle customized development life cycle process. This includes process definition, Agile SCRUM based development, Hybrid Agile based development, cross functional communication, technical project management, requirements traceability, test case management and defect tracking.

  • Provide technical architecture support that applies a broad business understanding and technical knowledge to create and improve critical systems or architecture segments.

  • Participate in the early stages of solution development, working with business and functional representatives, to analyze the overall business problem and objectives and to develop strategies to meet those objectives. This involves conducting or participating in (but not limited to) interviews, workshops, cross functional teams, and working groups to make well informed solution and improvement recommendations.

  • Provide Business Architecture support in structuring the enterprise in terms of its governance structure, business processes, and business information. This includes aligning strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding products and services; partners and suppliers; organization; capabilities; and key business and IT initiatives.

  • Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the enterprise and capture the tactical and strategic enterprise goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance.

  • Define the set of strategic, core and support processes that transcend functional and organizational boundaries; identify and describe external entities such as customers, suppliers, and external systems that interact with the business; and describe which people, process, tools, resources, and controls are involved in the processes.

Education and Years of Experience:

  • BS/BA + minimum 7-9 years of related work experience or equivalent

Labor Category Verification Requirements:

  • Minimum active Secret clearance

  • Enterprise architecture planning, development, oversight and implementation

  • Information Support Plan (ISP) architecture

  • Expertise in NetOps, network security, identity and access management, unified capabilities, big data, cloud, end-user devices, cybersecurity, and enterprise service management architectures

  • Expertise in generating various DoDAF Viewpoints with MagicDraw

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Army Headquarters or CIO/G-6 experience

  • Understanding how the Army operates
