CACI International Business Management Analyst in Fort Belvoir, Virginia

Job Description

CACI is seeking a part time Business Management Analyst with 10+ years experience to support a large contract at Fort Belvoir, VA. The candidate will provide direct support to the Business Management Director, providing a wealth of business management and acquisition expertise. You’ll provide business leadership, direction, and management support to assist with execution of budget planning/reporting, acquisition activities, formulation and recommendation of solutions for complex problems, modification and improvement of processes (continuous improvement), communication across the organization and with outside stakeholders. What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans and policy, determine requirements and needs of the program, investigates and resolves problems, interface with other functions and outside personnel, assist in the preparation and execution of budgets and manage staff efficiently, work on complex projects which will require original thinking and new approaches, guide, aid and manage others on a major program.

  • Set priorities and ensure that the work products for the group conform to standards, plan and manage assignments, review progress and evaluate results as needed, support business office staff by generating financial reports, database management, GFEBS analysis, provide support to the Cost Team by reviewing ACEIT models and other cost reports as necessary, complete all required Business Management support tasks in a manner that is compliant with applicable standards (to include DoD 5000.2, AR 70-1 and the PEO Soldier MDR/TC Guidebook within specified deadlines).

  • Develop, draft, provide, and update financial management briefs and associated documentation in support of the Business Management Director (P/R forms, white papers, acquisition strategy input, funding and budget briefs, etc) for acquisition programs.

  • Develop, provide, and update program documents as required to include Scope of Work, Acquisition Plan/Strategy, Source Selection Purchase Description, Independent Government Cost Estimate {Note all contractor prepared acquisition documents/estimates must be validated and approved by Government personnel}.

More About the Role:

  • Will serve in direct support to the Business Management Director of a large Army program office, providing assistance in coordinating responses to taskers and requests for information, development of cost/budget briefs to senior leaders both within and outside the organization, assist in development of P/R forms, annual spend plans, and assist with tracking of obligations/disbursements.

  • Will coordinate with other Program Office Directors and leadership as required to obtain necessary information to support business management activities.

  • Assist other Business Management team members as needed.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Business or related field, 10+ years’ experience.

  • Possess extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of Financial Management, Federal acquisition (DOD 5000), program or project management;

  • 10+ years of experience developing, drafting, providing, and updating documentation for acquisition programs, specifically with regard to cost and funding inputs with appropriate consideration of requirements at various program Milestone events (e.g. MDD, MS-A, MS-B, MS-C, TC/FMR, FRP)

  • Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Must possess the ability to effectively communicate with personnel across the organization as well as external stakeholders.

  • Active Secret Clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Ideal candidate possess 10+ years of experience developing and executing strategic business plans, determining requirements and needs, investigating and resolving problems,

  • 10+ years of experience supporting Acquisition tasks in a manner that is compliant with applicable standards (to include DoD 5000.2, AR 70-1 and the PEO Soldier MDR/TC Guidebook within specified deadlines),

  • 10+ years of experience preparing/reviewing ACEIT models for Cost Teams,

  • Prior experience supporting PEO Soldier highly desired.
