What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is currently looking for outstanding Cloud Engineer to join our Architecture, Operations, Networks, and Space (AONS) team supporting the Army Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G-6 in the National Capitol Region. CACI provides analytical and technical services to the Army DCS, G-6 enhancing and modernizing their Enterprise Network. In this position, you will be implementing and applying technologies, processes, and practices for cloud-based tools, techniques and trends.
More About the Role:
Maintaining system solutions and ensuring protection of proprietary/confidential of data in accordance with mandated standards.
Provide support in the development of tools and templates for use during data center, application, and system optimization and rationalization development process monitoring, control, and closeout to include updates to the Cloud Computing Strategic Architecture format for the upcoming year.
Provide critical review/analysis of BCAs, engineering estimates, and other Cloud computer related staff documents submissions (policy, guidance, regulations) in terms of impact, completeness, format compliance, and compliance with the requested scope of work to be executed as it relates to optimization, rationalization, and migration of Army application and systems.
Provide strategic planning support through NetOps architecture expertise and integration of cloud computing environments within and between institutional and operational environments and to inform the CIO/G-6 Leadership of status and challenges.
Support IT Portfolio Management (PfM) implementation and Army Enterprise Network (AEN) capability alignment to the EIEMA strategy.
Coordinates with the Operations Lead and is responsible for conducting analysis and providing insight on planned Cloud Infrastructure including; setting up Cloud Instance, Costs, Services and follow-on maintenance.
Works closely with the Engineers to determine best practices for Army Cloud-based networks.
Coordinate, setup and configure Army Cloud environment and services.
Attends most if not all Formal meetings (e.g. Technical and Programmatic).
Keeps the team up-to-date on Cloud strategy, planning and implementation.
Provides briefing material as required to support the program. Presents briefs to team and stakeholders as required.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Experience with AWS Gov or IC Cloud environments.
3 – 5 Years of experience with current and emerging system and network security tools and applications
3 – 5 years of experience and knowledge developing or implementing strategies, policies, and procedures for cloud
Possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance
BA/BS degree in Cybersecurity or related field plus 10 years’ minimum relevant work experience, or MA/MS degree with minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience
Possesses at a minimum an approved DOD 8570.1 IAT level II certification
AWS Cloud certification or equivalent
Experience with the development of draft policy, oversight, and guidance of initiatives such as services, infrastructure and networking, Thin / Zero Client Computing, Unified Capabilities, Data Center Consolidation, Cloud Computing, Sentris, Splunk, and SharePoint
Detail oriented team player

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Effective and efficient time management of self and team duties.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Army Headquarters Experience
Experience supporting the Army DCS, G-6 is desired.
Relevant Army or other DOD Special Access Program experience.
