What You’ll Get to Do:

As a CACI-WGI (The Wexford Group International) Cyber Defense and Network Vulnerability Specialist, you will provide direct mission expertise and support to the Army’s premiere cyber-red team organization responsible for providing in-depth aggressor and assessor support to Army, Joint, and Department of Defense organizations. The organization deploys multi-functional information warfare teams worldwide to assess, aggress, train, and provide operational support to the Department of Defense and the U.S. military to improve readiness and provide freedom of action in the information environment, while denying the same to our adversaries. You will be required to work in the National Capitol Region (NCR); some CONUS and OCONUS travel is required.

More About the Role:

Our Cyber Defense and Network Vulnerability Specialist assess computer network defense and information assurance in support of Information Operations and Cyber assessments. You will provide certified vulnerability assessment analysts to conduct off-site system vulnerability, network architecture, policy and procedural, application, system integrity reviews and threat-based emulation and cyber red teaming against Army and Department of Defense networks.

Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting and/or performing the following tasks:

  • Provide certified and vulnerability assessment analysts to conduct threat-based emulation and cyber red teaming against Army and Department of Defense networks

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of assessment methods, tools, and techniques and employ a standardized procedure for vulnerability scan during an assessment.

  • Performing code reviews, protocols, and input fuzzing to find vulnerabilities.

  • Conducting analysis of disassembled code when source code is unavailable.

  • Developing exploits based on identified vulnerabilities and recommending fixes and mitigation for identified vulnerabilities.

  • Assessing Computer Network Defense and Information Assurance in support of Information Operations and Cyber Assessments.

  • Providing certified vulnerability assessment analysts to conduct off-site system vulnerability, network architecture, policy and procedural, application, and system integrity reviews.

  • Providing expertise of network security testing, server hardening, vulnerability scanning tools, and penetration testing techniques.

  • Assisting with the creation/maintenance of adversary emulation tool-sets/development.

  • Contributing to the technical and executive summaries of team assessment missions.

  • Documenting tactics, techniques & procedures, and develop process map and standard operating procedures for network assistance visit and penetration testing missions.

  • Assisting in developing maintaining the Army’s exploitation tool repository.

  • Assisting in the integration of exploitation tool testing, evaluation, and documentation (Risk Management Framework Process).

  • Coordinating trends and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures on Army information systems security related matters.

You’ll Bring These Qu alifications:

  • Top Secret (TS) clearance and eligible for DoD Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience providing network vulnerability assessments support to DoD.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related Technical Field.

  • Recent experience (within the past 5 years) working onsite at 1st IO CMD.

  • Experience with DoD customer in the following fields: Electronic Warfare; Military Information Support Operations/Civil Military Operations/Civil Affairs; Cyberspace Operations; Web OPS; and Military Intelligence.
