CACI International Cyber Security Engineer in Fort Belvoir, Virginia

Job Description

CACI is seeking a cleared Cyber Security Engineer at Fort Belvoir, VA to work for our Army customer.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Responsible for implementing the overall direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of specific projects and ensuring consistency with emerging strategy, commitments and goals.

  • Manage projects and deliverables to completion, on time, on budget and with complete customer satisfaction.

  • Revise project plans as needed.

  • Ensure resources are effectively used.

  • Establish strong rapport and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and team members.

  • Leading, guiding and directing teams to overcome obstacles.

  • Providing engineering support, program management support, and project scheduling support.

  • Document creation and review as needed.

  • Process improvement.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance.

  • Knowledge of DoD regulations, the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), and policy related to Cybersecurity.

  • Knowledge of system vulnerabilities, cyber attacks, cyber security countermeasures, proper reporting procedures, damage assessment, and remediation.

  • Knowledge of the certification and accreditation process under DITSCAP, DIACAP and RMF.

  • Working knowledge of ITIL Framework, Joint Information Environment, Joint Regional Security Stack, Data Center Consolidation.

  • Computer skills with MS Office (to include MS Project) applications.

  • Able to learn quickly, apply new skills and concepts, and improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Strong problem solving, organizational and communication skills.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the areas of information assurance, systems engineering, information technology (IT) services management, operations, RMF, and program management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

  • CISSP preferred.

  • Ability to work in a team focused, dynamic environment.

  • Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated.

  • Able to converse with technical and business staff alike.
