Join CACI supporting C5ISR Center at Fort Belvoir. You will be developing innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis using multi-dimensional datasets and leveraging machine learning technologies and advanced techniques. You will bring your expertise, curiosity, innovation and customer centric approach to employ a variety of programming languages and tools for data integrations, transforming the data into database views and creating custom, repeatable predictive models to enhance current and future situation awareness and target acquisition systems with the use of modeling and simulation algorithms.
What You’ll Get to Do:
The Data Scientist role is responsible for innovative data solutions by applying your knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, visualization and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns and identify opportunities. You will work directly with customers to understand the systems, processes and how the data is used for decision activities and help drive data discoveries, data design, and prototypes. Use an agile, analytical approach to design, develop, and evaluate descriptive and predictive models and advanced algorithms on both structured and unstructured data. Generate and test hypotheses and derive patterns, trends, and correlations. Build repeatable machine learning systems to automate predictive models. Effectively consult and communicate the results of the data models to customers.
More About the Role:
Use a combination of software tools, languages and libraries to develop ML algorithms to analyze huge volumes of imagery data, run tests, perform statistical analyses, interpret results, and document machine learning processes. Be able to review data diagrams to understand entity relationships and data values that define uniqueness, analyze data to confirm relationships and identify potential data quality issues. Use critical thinking to assess deficiencies in existing solutions and provide recommendations for improvements.
Remote with access to the Washington DC Metropolitan area.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
In depth knowledge and practical experience using a variety of machine learning techniques: linear regression, logistic regression, random forests, gradient boosting, neural networks, natural language processing, clustering and classification algorithms.
Strong Python programming experience
Experience with machine learning and statistical libraries such as Scikit-Learn, SciPy, NumPy and Pandas; familiarity with modern deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, Keras, and/or PyTorch.
Experience with SQL and other various non-SQL databases and object stores
Master’s Degree in Data Science or Software Engineering and minimum 2 years of related work experience (may include well documented post-graduate efforts)
Strong analytical, organizational and data management skills
Ability to conduct in-depth data analyses to assist in validating business assumptions and investigating issues. A firm understanding of database concepts and entity relationships
Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of related work experience.
U.S. Citizenship Required with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with image and video capture methods and processing imagery data
Experience with hardware/sensor network interactions
Experience with Matlab
Experience with Unity and/or Unreal Engine and associated plug-ins
Ability to work in a time critical environment and prioritize workload effectively
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Ability to keep information organized and confidential
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $59,900-$119,800. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
