What You’ll Get to Do:
As the CACI-WGI (The Wexford Group International) Mission Readiness Exercise (MRX) Project Coordinator you will provide direct mission enabling support to the 1st Battalion (1st IO Command) in order to support freedom of action in the information environment and to deny the same to our adversaries. You will be required to work in the National Capitol Region (NCR); some CONUS and OCONUS travel is required.
More About the Role:
You will be responsible for the following activities:
Conduct Long-Range, Mid-Range, and Short-Range planning, mission analysis, and execution of the Military Decision-Making Process.
Conduct coordination and communication within the Command and with other agencies/organizations involved in the Mission Readiness Exercise.
Research emerging Force Tracking Numbers and related documentation of various classified databases.
Develop and provide exercise-related calendars, schedules, synchronization matrices, milestones, information papers, and reports.
Develop and provide decision briefs, Operations Orders, and execution matrices.
Provide training exercise support at Ft. Belvoir, VA, and other locations such as Army National Guard and Army Reserve unit’s armories and Active Component training facilities within the Continental United States (CONUS) at the request of the Government.
Develop and prepare daily Mission Rehearsal Exercise Situation Reports.
As requested, review emerging doctrine for potential Mission Readiness Exercise inclusion/impact/update.
Develop and provide input to Command related Field Support Team and Mission Readiness Exercise documents.
Maintain relationships with the Information Operations community.
Prepare plans and operations related reports for dissemination to the Government.
Conduct classified and unclassified research and analysis of the Field Support Team’s upcoming mission.
Assist in the determination of Information Operations tasks that will be required to be executed by the Field Support Team for inclusion in the exercise.
Support to the Information Operations Field Support Team Mission Readiness Exercise Section’s Mission Readiness Exercise Creation and Execution Teams.
Support the Mission Readiness Teams on a full-time basis.
Assist with training exercise research, design and training exercise product development and refinement.
Assist with and participate in exercise rehearsals, exercise preparations, and the accountability, training, and management of Mission Rehearsal Exercise Team Contractor employees.
Participate in all portions of exercise execution.
Replicate senior staff members, key leaders, maneuver commanders, and other roles such as Information Related Capabilities (IRC) staff and special staff members as directed.
Assist with Information Operations Field Support Team preliminary training and re-training.
Prepare and provide monthly Mission Readiness Exercise contractor support related reports to the Government.
Assist in identifying the supported unit’s (deployed) processes, procedures, templates, and battle-rhythms for inclusion in the exercise.
Develop and provide Information Operations Field Support Team Area of Responsibility (AOR) specific briefings and MRX orientation briefings.
Participate in Mission Readiness Exercise preparations and rehearsals.
Serve as multi-role players during Mission Readiness Exercise execution as directed.
Participate in Mission Readiness Exercise activities and After-Action Reviews as directed.
Assist with Mission Readiness Exercise re-training activities.
Assist with post- Mission Rehearsal Exercise internal performance After-Action Reviews.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Top Secret (TS) clearance and eligible for DoD Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) required
Minimum of 3 years’ experience conducting Long-Range, Mid-Range, and Short-Range planning, mission analysis, and execution of the Military Decision-Making Process at the battalion or higher level of a tactical command.
Recent experience (within the past 2 years) as a Mission Readiness Exercise (MRX) Coordinator for an operational or tactical level command or interagency equivalent.
Demonstrated experience with training exercise research, design and training exercise product development and providing Area of Responsibility (AOR) specific briefings and MRX orientation briefings
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Bachelor’s Degree in related Technical Field preferred.
· Recent experience (within the past 5 years) working onsite at 1st IO CMD.
· DoD Service as a senior staff member, key leader, maneuver commanders, and other roles such as Information Related Capabilities (IRC) staff and special staff members.
Role player experience in one or more of the following fields of expertise: Electronic Warfare; Military Information Support Operations/Civil Military Operations/Civil Affairs; Cyberspace Operations; Web OPS; and Military Intelligence.
