CACI International Senior Budget Analyst in Fort Belvoir, Virginia

Job Description

Provide Budget Analysis support to assist the PM E2S2 staff with DoD budgeting, financial, and programmatic support.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Provide Budget Analysis support to assist the PM E2S2 staff with DoD budgeting, financial, and programmatic support.

  • Manage assigned programs in accordance with funding limitations provided on Funding Authorization Documents (FADS).

  • Support the business management team with analyzing and resolving Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) and contract closeout actions.

  • Ensure accuracy of budget data estimates by use of statistical techniques, e.g., extensions, averages, and trend analysis of historical data.

  • Monitor and track obligations and expenditures for assigned activity accounts on related budgetary forms, schedules, and reports.

  • Verify that obligations and expenditures occur on a timely basis in accordance with the annual work plan and regulatory controls; and are within amounts programmed.

  • Montitor current year execution plans, report any variances, and recommend solutions in order to meet OSD obligation and disbursement goals.

  • Resolve financial issues and contract closeout actions, and coordinate with the PM's Business Manager and staff to develop and facilitate detailed training modules to create uniform processes and procedures across the Project Office.

  • Assist with the development and execution of DoD budgets utilizing Standard Operation and Maintenance Army Research and Development System (SOMARDS), General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), and Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).

  • Perform other related budget and finance administrative management functions and tasks.

  • Submit and brief weekly and monthly budget reports to leadership in accordance with CDRL A005, Reports, Record of Meetings/Minutes.
