What You’ll Get to Do:

As a CACI-Wexford SOF Defense Research Analyst supporting the Special Operations Forces Emerging Threats, Operations, and Planning Support (SOFETOPS), you will serve as a senior concept developer for an Army Service Component Command. You will conduct research and write Army client operating, functional, organizational, operational concepts, command directed white papers, and emerging doctrine products. You will also prepare staffing products and adjudicate staffing comments on comment response matrices.

More About this Role:

You will also support the following tasks:

  • Review internal command documents and provide recommended edits to those documents during the development process from the client’s perspective.

  • Coordinate and execute meetings, working groups, and workshops and write an executive summary or report for these events.

  • Maintain a calendar that informs actions, suspense’s, meetings, and general situational awareness and develop and maintain data libraries on SharePoint, Teams, and web portals

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Current Top Secret/SCI clearance

  • 12 years of experience in U.S. Army Special Operations

  • Experience with the execution of SOF operations at the battalion and above level

  • Knowledge of the roles, missions, and functions of U.S. Army 18, 37, and 38 series MOS(s)

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Ability to conduct research, write and edit

  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office applications

  • MA or MS degree preferably focused on military defense related program of study

  • Graduate of U.S. military Command and General Staff College (or U.S. military service school equivalent)

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organizations.

  • Must be able to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
