CACI International Sr. Equipment Installer in Fort Bragg, North Carolina

Job Description

CACI is seeking a Sr. Equipment Installer who will support SME and also responsible for all Installer administration readiness requirements, training and certification for all Install Team Leads on team for the GFS program at Ft. Bragg, NC.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • The Install SME will keep Installers informed on mission changes and administrative changes within the program. Send updated reports to PF Operations.

  • Enforce standards for install team, to include, but not limited to, conduct and appearance.

  • Attend Mission Coordination Briefings.

  • Ensure daily and weekly reports are accurate, properly edited and submitted timely to meet all suspense to leadership and the Corporate Office.

  • Maintain Accountability of Class IX inventories and Installation Kit (IK), work closely with GFE Lead and ensuring accountability of GFE assigned to all Installers.

  • Ensure daily and weekly reports are accurate, properly edited and submitted timely to meet all suspense to leadership and the Corporate Office.

  • Update assigned personnel with latest Technical Bulletins to insure installation IAW with TB’s.

  • Provide safety oversight to all fielding personnel to ensure the latest safety standards are met and followed.

  • Possess capability to distinguish between hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems.

  • Perform fielding, installation, operations, test, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, exercise and test support and maintenance.

  • Plans and performs installation, test, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for communications equipment, electronics equipment.

  • Provides technical direction and guidance to lower level technicians.

  • May be require for extended TDY CONUS and OCONUS as well as operations in contingency environments 50% to 75% in temporary duty status in support of Mission Command.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active Secret.

  • MS + 3 years or BA/BS +4 or AA/HS + 15 years of experience.

  • US Citizenship is required to be worldwide deployable, have a valid US Driver's License and be able to obtain a valid passport within 30 days of employment.

  • Hands-on or educational experience in technical areas of electronics or network support (software or hardware) or computers (hardware or hardware) or fielding major systems or satellite networks or data encryptions or web-based apps or encryption devices or COMSEC or Fires or Command Posts or Platforms.

  • Knowledge of Windows, Power Point, Word and Excel or similar programs required.

  • Presentation, Facilitation and Coaching skills.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Military experience preferred.
