What You’ll Get to Do:

As a CACI-Wexford Technical Project Manager (AI/ML), you will support of United States Army Special Operations Command's (USASOC) core responsibility to provide trained and ready forces that are prepared to meet Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) and Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) requirements around the world. Considering the breadth of hybrid and dynamic threat groups associated with each GCC's respective Area of Responsibility, providing tailored Special Operations force packages with the proper mix of skills and equipment in time to prevent or address conflict is a difficult task using conventional force generation and deployment processes. USASOCs transition to a truly data-driven organization to best posture for both the current operational environment and the next operational environment.

More About the Role:

The project is rooted in agile best practices, executing the tenants of DevOps and implement continuous process improvement in process and tools/technology to facilitate USASOC’s transition to a data-driven organization, support ongoing AI/ML across the enterprise, and enable modernization efforts that support the ARSOF mission. The Project Actively supports the Artificial Intelligence Division (AI DIV) Strategy with a focus on project Zeus. This work for this effort is to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to the USASOC Force Modernization Center (UFMC). The support areas required are as follows:

  • Data Scientist, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, and Cloud Computing consultant Support

  • Cloud architecture design, engineering, development, security, and information assurance

  • Rapid response staff augmentation support at the project and product level

  • On-site and virtual AI/ML executive education and SME training

  • Customer and application(s) support

  • Provide the government a minimal staffing risk (zero transition risk, no ramp up time) with fully functional cybersecurity, DevOps, software, data, and machine learning engineering team

  • ATO and C-ATO technical and management support

  • Enhance the cybersecurity and the code security process of the Zeus Platform stack (e.g.Zero Trust)

  • Automated penetration/functional tests (e.g., authentication) in staging environment to further reduce the attack surface and chance of vulnerabilities in production

  • Use Risk Mgmt. and Compliance tooling (e.g. eMASS, XACTA, OSCAL) to manage RMF controls and automatically generate RMF artifacts (e.g., body of evidence)

  • Continuous Monitoring/ Assessment

  • Hardened containers to include automated integration with Platform One Iron Bank (hardened container images)

  • Build management dashboards for compliance, billing, usage, and vulnerabilities Cloud (cloud native, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure) architecture and engineering design and development

  • Data Operations (DATAOPS), Development Operations (DEVOPS) and Machine Learning Operations (MLOPS) architecture, engineering and support services

  • Build cross-domain data solutions

  • Software licenses for Automated Machine Learning (ML), enterprise data analysis platform(s), server operating systems for edge, cloud, and hosted platforms, application development integration, communications and project management, and data lake storage platforms

  • Hardware to support enterprise AI/ML use case development to include but not limited to servers, single board computing, sensors, mobile devices, network infrastructure, and a regional cloud supported server stack

  • The team will coordinate/lead implementation of predictive and statistical models in response to USASOC leadership problem

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Agile and/or SCRUM Master Certification

  • Demonstrated experience as DevOps practitioner with deep technical acumen who can translate requirements into value

  • Experience deploying and maintaining cloud/hybrid solutions to support AI/ML

  • Project Management experience involving enterprise level technical projects within the DOD

  • Experience mentoring less senior staff

  • Experience leading cross functional teams

  • Demonstrated experience routinely working on multiple highly complex assignments.

  • Experience providing consultation to Sr. executive level leadership on a normal basis
