Job Description

The Special Operations Forces Planning Rehearsal Execution and Planning organization, SOFPREP, builds synthetic environments that are flown on Special Operations Force ground and air simulators. This position develops, enhances, analyzes various forms of digital geographical data, and then assembles this data into real-time visual databases for flight and ground simulation.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Use several types of graphics software, technical and artistic skills to develop and produce accurate 3D models and renderings for computer simulation applications for our clients.

  • Use a variety of software applications to create, update or maintain technical 3D models.

  • Formulate concepts and render illustrations and details from photos, models, CAD drawings, blueprints, sketches, memory, written or verbal instructions, and imagination.

  • Interact with customers to determine needs and follow assigned projects through from client meeting to design and production.

  • Ensure quality work and determine schedule for work assignments.

  • Collaborate with project teams to plan, analyze, organize and execute assigned projects.

You’ll Bring the Following Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret clearance

  • 2-4 years of experience in 3D Modeling.

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Unity 3D, 3D Studio Max, MAYA, and/or Presagis Creator

  • Familiarity with GIS data formats and 3D database concepts.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
