CACI International Project Manager in Fort Detrick, Maryland
CACI is looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage the Veterans Affairs project to adopt use of DMLSS/LogiCole as their full supply chain solution.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Together with the Program Manager, you will be responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing the work of assigned teams to achieve the goals and success criteria for assigned customer IT projects.
Provide on-site support to the customer providing insightful solutions and assist with determining and implementing both technical and business goals, in consultation with top management, and make detailed plans to accomplish those goals.
Develop and maintain project schedules, facilitate scheduled meetings, review updates and discuss progress and associated risks. Perform horizontal integration planning, and interface with other functional areas where necessary.
More About the Role:
You’ll work with the Program Manager to manage solutions to implement and sustain DMLSS/LogiCole at VA Medical Treatment Facilities and their respective community-based outpatient clinics as an Integrated Enterprise Medical Materiel Solution. The solution requires support for expanding DMLSS/LogiCole as a comprehensive supply chain management, medical/surgical supplies and pharmaceuticals, inventory management, procurement support, equipment accountability, biomedical engineering facilities management, and the integration of interfaces to the (VA) financial (i.e., VA Legacy Financial Management System (FMS) or United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) CGI’s Momentum), ordering and business intelligence applications and electronic health record implementation.
You will lead significant segments of the VA project within the program. You will be responsible for leading the project team, coordinating across the overall program, sprint planning, scope, risk and schedule management and troubleshooting. This position will involve analyzing new and complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
You must demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills. You’ll communicate with parties within and outside of your job function. You’ll typically have responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.). You’ll work to influence project/team leaders within and outside of the job function at project/program regarding solution design, process, and/or approaches.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Ability to pass a favorable NACLC
BA/BS or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of related work experience.
Demonstrated IT background and solid communication skills experience.
Demonstrated experience generating program/project metrics plus experience gathering customer requirements and holding technical exchange meetings to include disseminating and tracking meeting notes with action items, including assignment and due dates.
Demonstrated experience coordinating, supporting, and participating in program meetings and reviews.
Demonstrated experience with technical integration projects requiring technical depth and skills
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Knowledge of and experience with VA Information Systems and/or DMLSS
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
