CACI is seeking a senior SAP Testing/QA Lead to support a DoD client in Frederick, MD. The candidate should possess demonstrated knowledge and experience of executing and/or managing testing of a large scale ERP program. Strong communication and client relationship building skills are important. What you get to do:
Conduct task planning, allocation and progress monitoring of team members using individual task tracking tools.
Establish and maintain an SAP Testing/QA Testing Plan.
Manage detailed test plans for all test phases in SAP Solution Manager.
Apply customer expectations, industry standards, software development, and engineering knowledge to assist teams within the program to define, document, maintain and improve processes.
Perform product and process audits according to the SAP/QA Testing Plan to ensure plans and processes are documented, compliance to processes and standards, and effectiveness of execution. Identify, document, and track any resulting corrective actions to closure.
Establish and maintain metrics for all testing phases.
Provide oversight and recommendations on improvement for testing tools.
Manage application access for government testing verification and validation prior to release deployment.
Identify and locate all test scripts and procedures for system integration and regression testing; maintain all test scripts.
Support recurring external and internal audits that relate to requirements and test managementMaintain and update a library of manual and automated regression tests.
Document the linkage between application requirements and test scripts.
Document all defects during all test phases as well as collect metrics and root causes of defects.
Train the staff on testing roles, objectives, and expectations for the program.
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, streamline processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality testing services to our customer.
You’ll bring these qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen.
Candidates must have or be able to pass a National Agency Investigation (NACLC).
Must have active CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ CE or higher certification.
Typically requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 10+ years of related large scale ERP/ SAP system experience.
Be proficient with the SAP Solution Manager testing tools.
Must have strong functional knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, Automated testing tools such as SAP CBTA, HP Win runner/ Load runner, MS Office products: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to define policies and procedures to include all aspects of Test Manager, Requirements Management, and Development Standards.
Experience working with Govt. SMEs to define the business and technical requirements associated with all application operations and implementation work; execute and document results of all tests.
Demonstrated experience in establishing and implementing testing strategy, plan and processes in an environment with a mix of enterprise, SAP and custom applications.
Experience with lifecycle development of SAP customizations, enhancements, system requirements and functional specifications, testing, and training material.
2+ SAP full life cycle projects and go-lives required.
Demonstrated experience developing and producing testing metrics.
Ability to define and improve tool configuration, processes and procedures for all testing cycles.
Use risk analysis to determine where testing should be focused.
Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical people, engineers, managers and customer.
Qualifications that are nice to have:
Prefer a candidate with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in a SAP functional process lead or testing lead function.
Experience with providing a Quality Assurance Verification and Validation for Section 508 compliance
Experience developing and maintaining a tool based Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
Ability to collaborate with technical and business team to find appropriate solutions in a timely manner
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with different audiences
Experience working with third party vendors and service providers
Desire to stay on-top of the latest software and hardware changes in the industry
