CACI is seeking a Java Developer with Full-stack development experience. You will develop software components that require knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and related technologies. You will Code, test, and debug existing programs and programs in development. You will assist in preparing documentation of software design. You will also participate in knowledge sharing activities with colleagues and work closely with other developers from the beginning of a product life-cycle to its release.

More About The Role:

You will be responsible for participating in the full application development lifecycle focused on Java micro-service based applications.

We are seeking developers who can change direction rapidly, utilize flexible thought processes, and can work in a close-knit team environment to produce the high quality product that our customers expect.

You will be responsible for researching, designing, developing and/or modifying software systems (e.g., custom, COTS, GOTS).

You will present ideas for system improvements, develop cost estimates for software developments or enhancements, conduct impact analysis for software changes and produce detailed specifications and write software code.

You will work closely with business analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements.

You will also conduct unit tests and documents findings as well as support formal testing in controlled environment before code is promoted to production.

You will adhere to program configuration change control standards as well as provide input into training manuals for users. You will also understand the structure and functionality of the COTS applications (e.g., Oracle, SAP, and Momentum).

You will write interfaces and conversion routines leveraging the application programmatic interface (API) as well as extend applications by using applicable application tools. You will also maintain knowledge of feature and technical changes in the application.

  • Adhere and support AGILE process based development.

  • Consult with users to define their business requirements or problem areas and uses technical expertise to provide solutions

  • Support requirement analysis , software development, and software integration

  • Evaluate and integrate Government and Commercial off-the shelf (GOTS/COTS) applications to satisfy user requirements

  • Follow formal development methodologies adhering to design specification, design techniques, standards and established development guidelines

  • Develop and maintain software technical documentation to assist in application maintenance and deployment

  • Test software components for adherence to the user requirements

  • Assist with the preparation of user and administrator documentation

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE TS/SCI eligibility, and willing to obtain CI Polygraph

  • Must have BA/BS in a related field

  • Must possess 6+ years of development experience with any object-oriented programming language (Java); without a degree must possess 10+ years of development experience

  • Experience working with web application development in a Linux environment

  • Experience developing micro-services within a Linux environment using sprintboot within AWS

  • Working experience using Maven, GIT, Jenkins, and Nexus

  • Must possess current 8570 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ CE

  • Working experience building web applications using JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, or CSS3

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with any of the following: Apache HTTPd, CSS, MySQL, Postgresql/postgis, XSLT, Geoserver, REST, SOAP

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,000 - $163,800
