CACI has an opening for a test engineer to support test events at the Central Technical Support Facility (CTSF) for integration, developmental testing, excursions and Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) at Fort Hood, TX in support of our customer, Project Manager Mission Command (PM MC). What You’ll Get to Do:
Perform a wide range of test and evaluation services to verify and validate that PM MC products are compliant with program requirements and objectives, interoperability requirements, configuration management requirements, and similar Program-Wide responsibilities
As Universal Mission Thread (UMT) lead for PM MC, develop and review Product Change Requests (PCRs) to update UMTs, staff and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth update process, and review and vote on UMT weekly distributions of PCRs by the Architecture Integration and Management Division (AIMD)
As UMT lead, work with PM MC program shop thread representatives to ensure all new PCRs for MC systems have been implemented in accordance with PCR Lock Dates for AIC.
Assist with test support planning to include creation and maintenance of Daily Prep schedules leading up to AIC start dates
Plan for and participate in program system testing and events
Assist product office with evaluation of architecture changes and technical bulletin (TB) verifications
Reports issues to test lead and product office for visibility
Develop test strategies in collaboration with U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC)
Assist in acceptance testing, confidence testing, problem troubleshooting, field testing and lab-based risk reduction (LBRR) testing
Support test events at various locations to include but not limited to Aberdeen Proving Ground, CTSF (Ft Hood), Ft Sill, Ft Bliss and other locations as required (TDY if required)
Provide test support and documentation as needed for all Army Interoperability Center (AIC) testing, Integration and Interoperability Events (I2E)
Assist in the development, review and implementation of test plans, procedures and documentation to support various stages of testing for all initial and updated increments/releases
Translate system requirements into test cases
Provide technical support and test analysis for the troubleshooting, debugging and research of Test Incident Reports (TIRs)
Represent MC systems in Data Authentication Groups (DAGs) and Executive Scoring Conferences (ESCs) to discuss and close TIRs, coordinate with program shops for additional data
Provide support with training planning and scheduling
Produce daily status reports during AIC to include Observation Report status and Test Incident Report status, work with engineers to ensure closure as appropriate
Produce weekly status reports for team based on team member reports
Assist in the planning and execution of coordinated test programs and the preparation of Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs)
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
Active U.S. Secret security clearance required
Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or Information Technology or similar) and at least 3 years of experience OR an Associates Degree and at least 7 years of experience OR no degree and at least 9 years of experience.
Experience with UMT processes, UMT content, and UMT schedules
An understanding of AIC architecture
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Excellent organizational skills and customer service expertise
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
An understanding of PM MC system capabilities and hardware/software configurations and be familiar with the currently fielded systems.
Expert understanding of DODI 5000.02; AR 73-1; and Director, Operational Test and Evaluation policies
