What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is currently looking for Full Stack Developers with agile methodology experience to join our team at Fort Knox supporting the a potential program supporting the Army Human Resources, Army Recruiting, and Army Cadet Commands. Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development for the Department of Defense and the US Army.
As a member of the program team, you will support the men and women charged with providing full lifecycle Army HR Functions through application development and engineering.
This program will thrive in a culture of innovation and are seeking individuals who can bring creative ideas to solve complex problems, both technical and procedural at the team and portfolio levels. The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse and geographically separated team is crucial. You should have worked with or have a strong interest in agile software development practices and delivering deployable software in short sprints.
More About the Role:
Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java and related code
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Security Clearance at the Secret level
DOD 8570 certification
College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
Professional Experience: 1 year related technical experience, with software design, development and implementation in a Windows Environment
Object oriented design and development (OODD) understanding, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Working under supervision to expose and resolve problems
Experience with source code control systems and concurrent development workflows (Git preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong collaboration skills and desire to work within a team
Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management
Responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong work ethic and a self-starter
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Technical Certifications, such as OCAJP; OCPJP; OCE, OCM; CSM or similar.
Experience with platform conversions (e.g., .NET to Java, etc)
Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas
Direct experience providing production support for applications utilizing Oracle databases; experience
Additionally, familiarity with any of the following highly desirable: HTML, Spring, WMware, ETL tools, ESB message queuing, application security, automated testing, UML, VersionOne, Jira, or Sparx Enterprise Architect
