CACI is currently looking for Senior Project Managers with agile methodology experience to join our team at Fort Knox supporting a potential program with the Army Human Resources, Army Recruiting, and Army Cadet Commands. Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development for the Department of Defense and the US Army.

As a member of the program team, you will support the men and women charged with providing full life-cycle Army HR Functions through application development and engineering.

The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse and geographically separated team is crucial.

More About the Role:

The experienced Project Management Task Lead(s) will support the US Army HR, Initial Entry, and TAGD systems as part of our team of qualified, diverse individuals to work on a Full-Service IT Support contract that includes application sustainment and development, and system performance analytics for the US Army Human Resources Command. As the Project Management Task Lead, you will be responsible for projects within one the technical areas of the program - HRIS, TAGD, or Initial Entry.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

  • Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.

  • Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

  • Participate in the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.

  • Build a trusted relationship with the client organization members and channels the CACI team focus on the U.S. Army Human Resources Command mission.

  • Participate in recruiting and mentoring team members for effective assimilation into the client and CACI teams.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • DOD SECRET Clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience;

  • Experience successfully managing complex IT projects in the area of operations / systems / applications development / data warehousing including cost and schedule management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management

  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong work ethic with minimal supervision

  • Advanced knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodology

  • Working knowledge of Agile Project Management Tools

  • Previous experience planning and managing large projects

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Scrum Master certification or PMP certification

  • A minimum of ten years’ experience in supervising and managing IT support personnel.

  • Experience with the DoD HR, Initial Entry, and or TAGD program objectives, mission requirements and associated DoD HR standard architectures.

  • Experience with U.S. Army personnel systems and workflow management processes.
