What You'll Get to Do:

CACI has an exciting position for an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) in the Annapolis Junction area. Relocation costs are available, and there is also the potential for working out of other SCIF locations in Northern Virginia, Huntsville, Alabama, and other SCIF locations TBD.

In this position, you will analyze system architectures/designs and identify mission critical vulnerabilities to DoD weapons systems in network architectures. You will be a part of a team that is building notional cyberattack paths based on real world documentation. You will also leverage your knowledge in network design to make recommendations for secure architectures for future networks used by DoD weapons and/or space systems.

This work provides an exciting opportunity to work with complex systems and contribute to the soundness of system and network designs. You will have an opportunity to merge your experience with vulnerability analyses with that of other ISSEs, software engineers, systems security engineers, and other teammates to ensure the customer’s systems are always mission ready.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Current TS/SCI with active polygraph will be required

  • Experience varies based on level from seven (7) or more years working as an ISSE

  • A bachelor’s degree STEM or a related or certifications in the field of Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering) required.

  • Four (4) years of ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

  • Must have some experience in cybersecurity assessments to include one or more of the following: Vulnerability assessments, threat assessment, application security or infrastructure security.

  • Experience with Vulnerability analysis, red teaming/blue teaming/purple teaming

  • Experience with one or more of the following: Cyber/NIST policy, RMF, mitigation development or implementation required.

  • Must hold a DoD 8570 compliant certification (Sec+, A+, CISSP etc..etc...)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Security +, CEH, GPEN, OSEP, etc.

  • DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2 or 3 is required

  • CISSP certification is required for some levels

  • Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) is required for higher levels

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $79,000-$161,900. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
