CACI has an exciting opportunity for a Data Center Engineer to join a newly created team in support of the DoD in the Ft. Meade, MD area!
What You’ll Get to Do:
As a Data Center Engineer, you will provide engineering support guiding the program through a disciplined sequence of steps appropriate to developing a data center IT integration solution to satisfy customer requirements and organizational tactical/strategic objectives.
This may include providing engineering support guiding the program through a disciplined sequence of steps appropriate to develop data center solutions to satisfy customer requirements and organizational tactical/strategic objectives.
Working with the appropriate government leads to define and execute the systems engineering processes and activities required to support the fit-up of project specific information technology infrastructure in terms of data center engineering subject matter
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline and 2 years application development experience.
Current TS/SCI Poly clearance is required
These qualifications would be nice to have:
Knowledge to design and manage rack layouts and ensure compliance with all applicable standards/regulations.
Experience creating engineering artifacts that satisfy requirements.
Ability to provide data center engineering expertise to develop technical cable plant solutions to solve customer network requirements.
Experience to prepare briefings, status reporting mechanism, and metrics.
Experience evaluating operational and technical alternatives, providing options/solutions while ensuring interoperability of system requirements.
Able to identify risks or potential obstacles to fulfilling architectural requirements.
