CACI has an exciting opportunity for a Database Administrator to join a newly created team in support of the DoD in the Ft. Meade, MD area!
What You’ll Get to Do:
As a Database Administrator, you will maintain the integrity, security and availability of multiple databases.
This may include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data.
You will perform database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements.
You will administer, maintain, develop and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline and 15 years database administration experience. Additional experience may be substituted for degree.
Current TS/SCI Poly clearance is required
These qualifications would be nice to have:
Ability to evaluate and recommend available database management system (DBMS) products.
Experience establishing and maintaining database user accounts.
Experience organizing and formatting data for efficient query and storage processes.
Ability to provide server administration with a variety of database products that include Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE.
Experience performing database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability.
Ability to perform disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data.
Experience to direct the monitoring, administrating, and implementing performance on database systems as well as database performance optimization, developing/changing database indices, redesigning database structure and reloading data into a database.
Experience to direct the administration and use of current and emerging database tools, strategies and technologies.
