What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is looking for a seasoned Deputy Program Manager (DPM) who will be the principal partner with the Program Manager (PM) to help shape our workforce, build our technical capabilities, and drive technology insertion to improve program performance, grow our business, and establish our team as the premier solution leader for our customers. This role is based in Annapolis Junction, Maryland and will be responsible to the PM for overall team performance and management of essential activities for the successful execution of CACI’s responsibilities in meeting the requirements of the program. The DPM will be offered the opportunity to work with a team comprised of multi-discipline technical/non-technical experts and project management professionals who thrive on supporting our client's IC mission, their success and growth objectives.

The DPM must be able to execute the daily tactical operations of the program and have a broad understanding of evolving technical trends. The DPM must be able to sustain an environment of transparency, collaboration and thought leadership while exercising sound judgement and program management expertise. The DPM should seek to take advantage of trends and be creative in applying trends to meet our customers’ mission requirements. This candidate must stay abreast of customer requirements/missions, technologies, and be able to create strategic plans and specific actions to drive program improvements. The DPM, in partnership with the PM, must be dedicated to the professional development of the team and ensure applicable qualifications are gained and maintained.

More About the Role:

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting all phases of the program to include daily/tactical execution

  • Program management experience/skills overseeing a large organization with 10 direct reports.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Effective interfaces with management, both government and contractor, of all levels

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Ability to interact and thrive in a collaborative manner with both Government senior leadership as well as CACI senior leadership.

  • Displaying solid business acumen and help develop and support the business case for technology investments and applications across the Enterprise IT market.

  • Identify skill gaps and partner with internal/external vendors to provide necessary training to resolve deficiencies.

  • Advising customers how to leverage technology and best practices to meet their current and evolving requirements.

  • Capable of providing strategic innovation to the customer and assisting with first to market service offerings

  • Able to manage multiple assignments, while ensuring programmatic accuracy, adherence to documentation standards, and a timely delivery of all work products

  • Ability to maintain flexibility and positivity with rapidly changing and often time sensitive requirements.

  • Ability to proactively identify and suggest recommendations for process improvements.

  • Management of corporate deliverables, personnel management, and profit/loss (P&L) responsibilities as needed.

  • Perform as the program lead for all aspects of the program when the assigned PM is away from the office.

  • TS/SCI w/ polygraph

  • Minimum 12 years of direct and relevant large-scale experience in SETA, IC and Commercial experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • PMP Certification
