Seeking a Property/Logistics Analyst for our Annapolis Junction, MD area.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Performs property control analysis activities to ensure continual accountability of company, government, or associate contractor property in accordance with applicable corporate policy, customer requirements, or government regulations.
Manages property accountability as assigned through a system of controls for all outcomes from Acquisition through Disposition.
Interacts with customers and internal personnel while investigating, analyzing and resolving regulatory compliance issues.
Coordinates and conducts internal and external property assessments and analyzes results as assigned.
Requests and obtains quotes (where appropriate) and provides support and justification to the program team and/or procurement office depending on the value of the acquisition.
Involved in property related matters, pre and post contract award, to identify risks, unique contractual requirements and support during contract performance and applicable closeout activities.
Applies working knowledge and comprehension of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and supplements, contracts, Standards for the Guiding Principles of Property Management and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) for property acquisition, use and disposition.
Ensures compliance of major business systems and processes required to do business with domestic and international entities.
May be responsible for providing guidance and training to company personnel on the application of business system processes, interpretation of laws and regulations and compliance requirements.
Previous experience as a Property/Logistics Analyst to include materials support and management
Experience with using a P-Card
Experience with reporting monthly/annual CAP/GFE/GFI
Motivated self-starter who works well alone and with others
Experienced working in a Quick Reaction (QRC) environment
TS/SCI with Poly
2-5 years of professional experience in logistics and or procurement
Uses Excel and/or Access databases
Knowledgeable in Materials Management
Understands FAR requirements for Competition vs Non-Completive Justifications
Experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
Has working knowledge current Data Item Descriptions (DID)
