CACI has immediate opportunities for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team on our prime DOD contract here at the Fort Meade, MD area.
This position requires a candidate to design, develop, and maintain detailed resource-loaded schedules for implementation, developmental and operational systems. Candidate will work with developmental and operational teams to develop detailed schedules and assist in keeping these schedules current. The candidate will be expected to use or recommend automated tools such as MS Project, Primavera or program mandated software. Candidate will also develop and or modify project schedules and or the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall Master Program Schedule and link project schedules with the overarching program, Investment Portfolio (IP), functional area and/or other Integrated Master Plans (IMPs). Candidate will provide hands-on development of layered schedules and IMPs that address how an acquisition project is progressing and how that project contributes to overarching requirements and objectives. Maintain status on linkages and dependencies with related projects. Position Details: This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Author Custom field formulas based on desired output
Author Visual & code based macros formulas
Perform MSProject targeted metrics generation & export
Perform schedule status report and report dashboard design
Perform MSProject Project Web App Server configuration
Perform Project Server Security Configurations & Maintenance
Provide customer connection resolution between multiple physical and virtual environments to the Project Server
Provide User Help Desk and trouble shooting
Perform System debug Licensing Analysis and Deployment strategy
Author articles on the technical implementation of scheduling /reporting concepts and develop templates and implementation based on independent research (e.g. LOE Driven Scheduling, EVM, cross-dependency linking)
Communicate with PEO/PM/Scheduler regarding technical explanation of scheduling and reporting benefits
Interface with Schedulers on MSProject tool usage and schedule details
Perform Resource loading knowledge transfer with customers
Perform General MS Project how to and debug with customers
Perform Excel Chart & Pivot Table generation
Responsible for creating and integrating program schedules into one or more IMS(s)
Hands on work with identifying deliverables and schedule cross dependencies and connecting them between schedules and IMSs
Demonstrated expertise in Word, Powerpoint, Excel 2022C-0105 Systems Engineer Level 6 (ESMS Team Support)
Experience and Education Requirements:
A minimum of twenty (20) years of Systems Engineering experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs. Please note, a Master's degree in a qualifying engineering discipline may substitute for two years of experience
Required Skills Include:
Demonstrated experience with MS Project and/or MS Project Server
Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining program Roadmaps and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
Experience building baseline schedules according to template
Ability to interact with senior agency leaders, development teams and technical project leads
Prior experience providing systems engineering and technical assistance to leadership
Experience creating and integrating program schedules into one or more IMS(s)
Ability to capture and prioritize requirements and outcomes
Ability to define program milestones and align with outcomes
Experience identifying both internal and external dependencies
Experience with Analyzing portfolio and program schedules, dependencies, issues, and risks
Demonstrated experience performing thread analysis
Experience with researching and performing technology integration (i.e., JIRA to MS Project plugins)
Ability to provide training to program personnel
Prior experience creating associated documentation for products
