CACI has an upcoming opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join our team here in the Fort Meade, MD area.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Analyze user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
Analyze system requirements and leads design and development activities.
Guide users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
Develop technical documentation, system Architecture, and system design documentation.
Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
Ultimately responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
14 years of Systems Engineering professional experience
Understanding of all phases of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. (Five years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree)
Five years of experience in the legal or technical aspects of Intelligence Community Privacy Compliance is required.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Knowledge of Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community authorities
Thorough understanding of mission authorities, technology architecture, and the Comprehensive Mission Compliance Program
Webpage/Wiki Maintenance
Ability to work independently on event-driven tasks
Meeting coordination and scheduling ability
Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders from across the Enterprise
Strong coordination and analytical skills
Knowledge of tool automation and machine learning methods
Knowledge of development tools
