CACI International Systems Administrator in Fort Meade, Maryland
CACI’s System Administrator shall perform a wide range of tasks to include:
Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems
Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of the problem
Provide support to the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
Installs/loads operating system, new software releases, systems upgrades, evaluates and installs IAVA patches and resolves software related problems
Isolate and resolve hardware and software problems involving the applications, the operating system, the hardware, and the communications infrastructure, or any combination thereof
Troubleshoot, maintain the integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
1 - 7 Years experience with Linux Operating Systems
Strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
Understanding of change and configuration management practices
Basic familiarity with ticketing systems
Must have a current TS/SCI with poly government clearance.

Strong written and oral communications skills
Ability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems
Initiative to quickly learn and put new skills to use
