CACI International Systems Engineer TS/SCI with Poly in Fort Meade, Maryland
What You'll Get to Do:
CACI has an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our team as a Systems Engineer in the Annapolis Junction area. As a System Engineer with SCRM experience you will be analyzing user’s requirements and concept of operation documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. You will also be analyzing system requirements and help lead design and development activities. You be responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. You will serve as communication liaison between program personnel, and government overseers, and senior executives.
You will use your twenty years (20) of Systems Engineering experience to guide system development and implementation planning through assessment of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. You will be interacting with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for any associated problems, issues or conflicts that may arise.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Current TS/ with active POLY.
Twenty (20) years’ experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline, 5 years of additional Systems Engineer experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Five (5) years of additional System Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Familiarity performing Supply Chain assessments on complex systems and their components.
Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
Experience developing documentation and briefings to demonstrate findings of supply chain analysis.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience assisting with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
Expert knowledge of the development of system engineering documentation
Experience participating in interface definition, design, and changes to the configuration between affected groups and individuals throughout the life cycle.
Expert understanding of how to allocate real-time process budgets and error budgets to systems and subsystem components.
Must be able to derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements that describe in detail the functions that a system component must fulfill, and ensure these requirements are complete, correct, unique, unambiguous, realizable, and verifiable.
Experience generating alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions.
