CACI is seeking a Part Time Database Administrator/Developer to support our government program.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Develop, maintain, and support and support Custom Desktop Windows Applications

  • Design and implement Windows user interface and data processing applications

  • Manage code versioning and data backup recovery procedures

  • Manage distribution and installation of custom applications

  • Responsible for Relational Database development and support

  • Develop and maintain supporting backend databases

  • Maintain data integrity and high level of security providing applications for data input, data maintenance, and user technical reference

  • Responsible for content creation for official Naval Safety Publications

  • Extract data from back-end databases into PDFs

  • Produce electronic media for distribution as DVD-ROM and for intranet consumption

  • Provide Intranet Web development and support/LAN network support

  • Provide 2nd tier Secure Network Administration support including ACL account management, and Group Policy management for Windows LAN shared file services

More About the Role:

  • Provide technical support and IT analysis of custom applications and general Knowledge Management for user base of 100

  • Perform technical analysis and provide IT services for mission-critical operations

  • Provide recommendations to management on Best Practices regarding work-flow methodology and management of IT portfolio assets including equipment, GOTS, COTS, and custom software and systems

  • Responsible for Project Management Lifecycle of all deliverables

  • Create system documentation, Work Instruction, and SOPs in accordance with appropriate Naval authority

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 10 years of experience

  • Security + certification

  • Strong knowledge and in-depth experience in Delphi software development and creation of required infrastructure for set-up and implementation of the Integrated Development Environment (IDE)

  • Knowledge of Delphi VCL, and FireDAC components and RTL API

  • Experience integrating Project JEDI JCL and JVCL into Delphi’s IDE

  • Analytical skills required for complex custom software development

  • Testing, debugging , integration, and automation skills

  • Advanced Desktop Publishing experience

  • Extensive knowledge and experience using Adobe Framemaker, Distiller and Acrobat Professional

  • Advanced Excel automation and reporting skills

  • HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript experience

  • Knowledge of best practices for capacity management and network security

  • Strong understanding of OOP, software design and architecture

  • Strong Problem-solving and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to understand and translate customer requirements thru all phases of life-cycle development

  • Ability to work independently
