Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Evaluate and recommend test tools and other software/hardware products to aid in use case testing

  • Work with software developers to create test tools using various code such as Python, and Java, to test system automation.

  • Work in a lab environment and support customers onsite

  • Analyze test requirements, and design and execute tests.

  • Tests may include system testing, user acceptance testing, performance testing, technical architecture testing, security testing and test automation,

  • Develop, update and maintain testing standards and procedures,

  • Record problems and issues in accordance with the project's problem and issue management plans,

  • Work with the team and/or client to resolve any issues that arise in the testing process.

More About the Role:

  • Responsible for determining optimal approach to testing complex products or solutions in order to assure compliance with applicable specifications.

  • Identify and recommend product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes.

  • Combines customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.

  • Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems.

  • Coordinate integrated testing activities. Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of test program.

  • Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare comprehensive system level evaluations

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Requires deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline.

  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher, from a nationally accredited university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from an institution recognized by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) for an approved curriculum in these respective fields of study.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in engineering testing
