CACI is seeking a Simulation Model Operator at Goodfellow AFB, Texas.

Responsibilities:

Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running Linux operating systems (RHEL8) servers and workstations for six sites. Sets up administrator and service accounts for new hires. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase tech refresh hardware and software; coordinates installation and provides necessary recovery operations. Develops and implements testing strategies and documents results. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. Participates in special projects as required.

  • Primary simulation model operator and scenario developer for the Air and Space Constructive Environment Information Operations Simulation (ACE-IOS) suite supporting Air Force intelligence and Air Operations Center simulation exercises.

  • Work activities are performed under general guideline and direction from military staff.

  • Performs research and analysis of intelligence and related data support of threat studies to support scenario development and exercise operations.

Required Skills:

  • Current TS/SCI clearance required.

  • Must have excellent communications skills.

  • Requires knowledge of military and intelligence experience in threat studies and analysis, threat/war doctrine and concepts and threat forces.

  • Requires detailed knowledge of Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) concepts, joint campaign planning and general knowledge of most Information Operations disciplines.

  • Requires knowledge of Department of Defense and service level (Army, Navy, Air Force) intelligence communities, including collection methods and production resources and responsibilities.

  • Working knowledge of Oracle RDMS (with Pro-C/C++)

  • Working knowledge of TADIL-A/B/J (Link 11/14/16), IBS-I, IBS-S, IBS-N, TDIMF, SENSORREP, TAB37, OTH-GOLD, JUNIT, S309, S507, CMF, VMF, CoT, NCCT

  • Working knowledge, JAVA, Cold Fusion, Action Script, Flex, Perl, Python, C-Shell, SQL, Bash scripting, JavaScript, XSLT, Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Cold Fusion Markup Language (CFML), Extended Markup Language (XML), MySQL, SOAP based web services, CSP

  • Must have CompTIA Security+ Certification

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in LINUX operating system and networking a plus.

  • A strong customer interface ability.

$49,700 - $101,800
