We have upcoming opportunities for Cyber Intelligence Analysts to support the United States Air Force (USAF) Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) enterprise. These positions play a key role in protecting our nation’s personnel, operations, and facilities against foreign adversaries operating in the cyberspace domain. Make a difference--join our team!

More About the Role:

If selected, you can expect to carry out the following duties & responsibilities:

  • Produce analytical products that address foreign cyber threat topics of Strategic (enduring cyber threat), Current (recent ongoing cyber threat), and Anticipatory (emerging cyber threat) importance to the USAF, DoD, and IC.

  • Analyze foreign cyber threats applicable to assigned areas of responsibility, producing finished intelligence that includes assessments of events and judgments regarding the implications of the information for the USAF, DoD, and IC.

  • Use Cyber Intrusion, SIGINT, HUMINT, IMINT, GEOINT, and OSINT databases to research and analyze raw reporting to assess foreign cyber collection threats to the USAF, DoD, and IC interests worldwide.

  • Convert raw reporting into finished documentation, including integrating, evaluating, analyzing, and converting all available data, into finished intelligence products.

  • Answer production requirements and RFIs; identify intelligence gaps and write consumer evaluations of raw reporting; and prepare and present briefings related to assigned areas of responsibility.

    You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Current and active TS/SCI and depending on the location, willing to complete a CI polygraph examination.

  • Experience providing all-source analytic support to USAF collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.

  • Experience conducting analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature.

  • Willing to complete the USAF’s Civilian Cyber Fundamentals Course (CCFC), Introduction to Networks and Computer Hardware (INCH) course, and the Introduction to Cyberthreat Analysis Course (ICAC).

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, and/or Security+ training or certification.

  • Junior level

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the cyberspace domain, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in an area related to cyber analysis from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. An additional 4 years of experience related to cyber analysis, for a total of 7 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

  • Mid Level

  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the cyberspace domain with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in an area related to cyber analysis from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

  • Senior level

  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience related to the cyberspace domain with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years

  • Education: Master’s degree in an area related to cyber analysis from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have Bachelor’s degree related to the cyber analysis from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.

  • Expert level

  • Experience: Minimum 20 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the cyberspace domain with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

  • Education: Master’s degree in an area related to cyber analysis from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
