CACI is looking for a Security Engineer to support an Air Force Customer in Hampton, VA
What You’ll Get to Do:
Ensure the operational security of Distributed Ground System-Experimental (DGS-X) information systems (IS) and networks, most notably the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System
Ensure the operational security of the Distributed Command Ground System-Experimental (DCGS) Open Architecture (OA) enterprise.
Work with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs) and OA Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to ensure system specific security control are addressed and implemented before delivery to OA sites.
Interface with the OA ISSE and Security Controls Assessors (SCA) team to perform remote A&A events and requests Interim Authority to Test (IATT) for each OA site.
Follow ICD 503 direction and uses the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process of accreditation as outlined in NIST SP 800-37 and 800-53 rev4.
Use the Xacta IA Manager tool to manage security compliance and risk, upload artifacts, and track projects as they're worked through the RMF process.
Provide guidance to OA community on security controls implementation, performing self-compliance tests, running security test plans, creating and updating Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M), and performing continuous monitoring functions.
Assist the Information System Owner (ISO) in creating Xacta packages for OA sites.
Participate in the Test Readiness Review (TRR) to ensure OA sites are prepared for an assessment.
Create an OA Tier 2 Common Control Plan (CCP) to address the systems controls for all OA site ISSO to inherit into their site Xacta packages.
Provide final approval of all account creation request ensuring the proper documents and certificates are included.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree (in IS Technology, Computer Science or related field) or 4-7 years equivalent experience.
DOD Directive 8570 IAT I or II certification (Security+ or equivalent).
