CACI International VMware Systems Engineer in Hampton, Virginia
CACI is seeking a VMware Systems Engineer to support the F3I-2 Air Force contract at Langley AFB, VA. The selected candidate will deploy VMware applications in physical and virtual environments, integrating multiple virtual servers on a single host machine, and providing VMware support.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Install, Manage, and troubleshoot VMware vSphere and vRealize Suite.
Perform VMware vRA v7.6 Installation, Configuration, Integration, and Management.
Strong VMware vRO Workflow and Action Development.
Coordinate and perform system patching for application and operating system.
Design and manage systems in multi-datacenter environments, with HA and DR design experience.
Integrate 3rd Party applications with vRA to provide integration and automation support, including Red Hat Linux, Puppet, Satellite, Microsoft Windows, and SCCM.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Security + CE Certification.
Strong documentation skills, need to document architecture, processes, workflows, and blueprints.
Knowledge of VMware vRO Integration with Rest API services.
Experience with PowerShell, Microsoft Active Directory and the PowerShell commands required to automate actions within Active Directory.
Proficient with Microsoft SCCM Integration with vRA.
Experience with Bash, Red Hat IDM and the commands required to automate actions within Active Directory.
Strong VMware vRO Workflow and Action Development
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
RHEL 7 Administration, Windows 2016 Administration, Dell VxRail and Network Administration, and Dell/EMC Storage Administration
Certifications: VCAP - Cloud Management and Automation, VCP
