CACI International Cloud Developer SME - TS/SCI Poly in Hanover, Maryland
CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector, is seeking a Cloud Developer Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a large, prime program in support of the Intelligence Community. All staff are fully cleared, and the program provides mission critical Enterprise Application Messaging and Authorization Services worldwide.

What You’ll Get to Do:The Cloud Developer SME will be part of a robust and fast-paced organization responsible for the design, development, and deployment of the Mission Utility Cloud (MUC) and other Cloud Infrastructure Services.
In this role, you will be responsible for selecting, developing, and adapting FOSS, COTS and GOTS software for use in Utility Cloud Infrastructure services.
Additionally, you will contribute to developing and adapting core features and functionality of the OpenStack software stack.
To be successful in this role, you must be innovative and think outside restrictive parameters and possess a thorough understanding of DevOps and push the approach beyond the typical cloud design. The primary skills required for this position include a functional knowledge of the customer hardware and software to include scripting and coding skills for integration, software development and deployment and software testing.
Additionally, you will:
Submit monthly status reports to the customer
Submit engineering reports on network problems, issues, risks and solutions to the customer as required
Deliver system requirements and specifications as directed
Deliver software code and documentation as directed
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline and 8 years of Software Engineering experience. Additional experience may be substituted for degree
Current TS/SCI Poly clearance
Extensive software development/engineering experience in Python/Perl/Ruby/Java/GoLang
Advanced administration skills (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu, Unix, Alpine)
Experience using YAML/JSON
Experience using revisioning systems such as GIT or SVN
Experience using or developing a configuration management platform such as Puppet or Ansible
Advanced networking skills
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Messaging services such as rabbitmq, tibeo, qpid, etc
Developing and integrating against APIs
Using or administration of OpenStack or other IaaS control platforms
Hosting VMs using Libvirt/QEMU
