CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector, has an immediate opportunity for a Configuration/DevOps Engineer to support our large, prime Intelligence contract in Hanover, MD. This Program provides mission critical Enterprise Application Messaging and Authorization Services worldwide. The Development Team supports highly visible, widely used systems that “make a difference” in this mission critical effort.

What You’ll Get to Do:

As a Configuration/Dev Ops Engineer, your responsibilities will include building and managing development and production environments for an IC Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) system.

You will manage/improve the CM tools and processes, perform builds, schedule, package/install releases, and document changes.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a technical discipline and 3 years Software Engineer. Additional experience may be substituted for degree.

Current TS/SCI Poly clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Setting-up and maintaining an ongoing a continuous build/ integration infrastructure for multiple environments.

  • Writing build and deployment scripts.

  • enabling successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production.

  • Documenting and coordinating with developers and leadership on releases.

  • Change tracking tools (e.g., Redmine, JIRA, etc.)

  • Managing/installing software on web application servers (preferably JBoss)

  • Knowledge of source code control management systems and build automation(i.e. Bitbucket, Sonar Nexus, Jenkins, etc.) and code branching/merging strategies

  • Linux, including Perl and bash

  • Docker containers and troubleshooting related performance issues

  • Training and supporting developers on processes for source control, through build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, deployment.
