The MIDDLEWARE program is comprised of multiple TTOs, and provides five key capabilities across them as well as a wide variety of support services. The key capabilities are: Data Transport - Provides real-time data transport services across a global footprint, Billions of message events per day. Enterprise Audit - Provides millions of auditable events to the enterprise never audited before. Authorization Services - Provides Billions of authorizations per year across the IC. Information Transport Service (ITS) - ODNI Mandated high speed data transport for high vale traffic. Enterprise Application Hosting – Supporting requirements for Platform as a Service (PaaS) and remote desktop infrastructure across the enterprise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is for System Administration support for development and production environments for a mission critical Identity and Access Management (IdAM) system. Responsibilities include working with a team obtaining and configuring Virtual Machines (VMs), loading Operating systems and software, performing security hardening, patching, and monitoring status. Position also will support ISSO and ISSEs in obtaining and maintaining security certification and accreditation. Position may require travel for onsite deployment and integration support. Apply knowledge of computer operations, platforms, systems, architectures, functions, and terminology. Independently read, write and implement standard operating procedures and technical documentation.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science and 10 yrs Sys Admin. or ann additional 4+ years w/o degree for a total of 14 yrs

  • Experience with:

  • Configuration and Maintenance of Virtual Machines

  • Linux and Windows operating systems

  • Scripting languages (e.g. Perl)

  • OS and Software application patching (e.g. IAVA, Version updates)

  • Knowledge or skill relevant to computer operations

  • Attention to detail and time management

  • Excellent communications skills

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with:

  • IdAM directories (active directory and/or LDAP)

  • Ticket tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Redmine, RT Tracker)

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and work independently and with a team.

This position maps to System Administrator, Sr B labor category on the Middleware III contract, which includes the following qualifications:

  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines

  • 10 years System Administration experience. An additional 4+ years of System Administration experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 14 years.

  • 2+ years experience with PKI authentication services.
