Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is to provide system administration support to the Data Dictionary team for the Identification, Authentication, and Authorization(IAA) program office. Specific tasking will include coverage in the following areas:

  • Perform System administration tasks including Virtual Machine(VM) and network configuration for the development team and production environments.

  • Coordinating with Security officers to ensure that environment is properly hardened and provide support for Security Accreditation activities.

  • Support installation of COTS tools/applications to virtualized environments.

  • Support application deployment.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Experience with setup and administration of:

  • Linux CentOS environments

  • Apache Tomcat Servers

  • AWS virtual machines

  • Scripting experience

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Attention to detail and time management

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Ability to work independently to triage issues and prioritize tasks

  • Ability to multi-task with minimum supervision to meet deadlines

LCAT Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines.

  • 3 years System Administration experience. An additional 4+ years of System Administration experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 7 years.
