CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our large, prime program in support of the DoD. All staff are fully cleared, and the program provides mission critical Enterprise Application Messaging and Authorization Services worldwide.
This program provides opportunities to support highly visible, widely used systems that “make a difference” in this mission critical effort. You will work with exceptionally talented professionals in a collaborative team environment with supportive management!
What You’ll Get to Do:
AS a Systems Engineer, you will:
Be an active participant in a diverse and awesome DevOps focused team delivering reliable, effective, and efficient use of cloud-based resources enabling peak performance of customer facing software applications.
Work in conjunction with multiple software development teams to ensure continuity of service to highly depended on Enterprise products.
Using knowledge of development principles, you'll always work proactively to stay ahead of the resource demands of any defined future state through expert consulting and architecting possible solutions.
Participate in all team ceremonies including planning, refining, and maintaining of multiple cloud-based environments dedicated to the development, testing, staging, and continuous delivery of production software applications and solutions.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline and 10 years Systems Engineering experience. Additional experience may be substituted for degree.
Current TS/SCI Poly clearance
Experience/Knowledge of AWS architecture, tools and best practices.
Familiarity with Containers such as Docker and the tools, apps, or services within its ecosystem such as Kubernetes.
Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) using Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, Amazon SNS, Amazon or similar.
Strong knowledge of the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, & Kibana).
Strong ability to creatively troubleshoot and debug problems.
Effectively adapt communication style when describing work activity to diverse disciplines/backgrounds from the overtly non-technical, to the highly technical.
