CACI is seeking fully cleared, dynamic technical professionals to join our TETRA program in the Northern, Virginia area. TETRA is an Enterprise IT Program that supports and protects the IC mission. The program is a portfolio of hundreds of projects funded by numerous customers providing Engineering and Sustainment services for a Global Information Technology Enterprise. What You’ll Get to Do :
CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking a Cloud Engineer to serve as a technical project resource and assist lead and implement the migrations of the customer’s applications and systems to the AWS Cloud. This position will require hands-on technical support for the migrations, in addition to, early stage planning and design efforts.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Supporting the development of technical solutions for applications or systems moving to the cloud
Leading requirements gathering, analysis, and solution development for systems and/or applications
Providing some support for cost estimates to clients based on architecture designs
Converting business requirements into systems architecture and design
Providing technical oversight, troubleshooting support, and guidance during the program execution
Providing hands-on technical support and development during the migration
Providing education and technical advice to the clients in preparation for the customer to take full ownership of the application or system after the migration
Migrating end customer applications to the clou
Staying abreast of emerging technologies and standards
You’ll Bring These Qualifications :
Deep technical understanding of AWS and the ability to produce technical solutions, answer and troubleshoot AWS issues, and produce cloud architectures based on the customer’s requirements
Python or other scripting language
Database / ELK - Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana
Experience working with large enterprise application environments
Experience with moving application workloads from on premise to off-premise or visa-versa
Understanding of different types of storage (block and file), availability zones, compute types, and application requirements
Understanding of API integration and management (gateways), monitoring workloads, and creating application dashboards in the cloud
Fundamental knowledge of cloud identity and access management (IAM) and enterprise compliance
Experience provisioning compute, network and storage resources and support application workloads, enterprise volume of traffic, and on-premise application integration
Experience with scaling out versus up utilizing elastic services and load balancers
Hands-on experience with deploying, testing, and managing enterprise applications to the cloud
Education & Experience:
Candidate must have one of the following:
12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
10 Years of job related experience and Associates degree
8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate
These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience and/or skills with other Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) (e.g., Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and/or IBM Cloud)
Ability to understand the business requirements and convert them into solution designs
Ability to strategize and develop complex responses to government solicitations and assist with and work on proposals
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
AWS Certified Developer – Associate
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
Other Cloud Certifications (e.g., Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and/or IBM Cloud)
Core Hours: 9:00 - a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
