CACI International Configuration Analyst in Herndon, Virginia
What You’ll Get to Do:CACI is searching for a motivated and entrepreneurial individual to serve as a Configuration Analyst on a NSA Type 1 Certified communications program which includes the product development, fielding and sustainment of associated technologies. The Configuration Analyst is responsible for:
Reviewing changes of product design to determine the effect on the end product design and function and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change.
Coordinating with the Government, vendors and sub-contractors to determine a process for change reporting.
Reviewing released engineering change data and changes documentation activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies.
More About the Role:
Develops the program's Configuration Management Plan (CMP).
Incorporates government interaction in configuration control planning and execution.
Coordinates with engineering to develop baseline configurations for hardware and software products.
Integrates the Manufacture's Description Record (MDR) into the configuration baseline.
Tracks the list of Configuration Control Documents and the current version.
Ensures accuracy of the Data Accession List.
Supports the Configuration Control Board by preparing documents, coordinating meetings and tracking action items.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's in Engineering or Computer Science OR 3 yrs of additional direct relevant technical experience maybe substituted for education
3 years work experience as a configuration manager, configuration specialist, or other relevant work categories is required.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Configuration management experience on an Army contract is desired.
Configuration management experience on a tactical communication program is desired.
Configuration management experience on an embedded hardware/software development program is desired.
