CACI International Contracts Intern - Summer 2021 in Herndon, Virginia

Job Description

CACI is seeking a Contracts Intern within the National Security and Innovative Solutions (NSIS) Sector. Contracts is a strategic business partner with an aim to deliver balanced business deals and build impactful customer relationships. Contracts serves as the official face of the company to the customer for all contractual business matters and performs essential communication, negotiation, and contract management duties from the proposal phase through program delivery.

More About the Role:The Contracts intern will work under the supervision of the Sector Senior Vice President of Contracts or their delegate and will have the opportunity to:

  • Prepare and analyze reports, metrics, and presentations for senior leadership.

  • Review terms and conditions associated with Non Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and Contracts.

  • Conduct Organizational Conflict of Interest screenings.

  • Attend Program Reviews, Risk Reviews, and client meetings.

  • Assist in sector level projects and assignments.

  • Interface with senior CACI officials through designated intern events, enrichment opportunities, and career development opportunities.

  • Present a final intern presentation to CACI senior leaders.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must currently be enrolled in High School OR a full-time Undergraduate, Graduate, or Doctorate student- Rising junior or senior.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance (if applicable to position)

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • If Undergraduate or Graduate, pursing a degree in or related field is preferred, not required - Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required.

  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities(professional/community/extracurricular)
