Job Description

CACI is seeking fully cleared, dynamic technical professionals to join our TETRA program in the Northern, Virginia area. TETRA is an Enterprise IT Program that supports and protects the IC mission. The program is a portfolio of hundreds of projects funded by numerous customers providing Engineering and Sustainment services for a Global Information Technology Enterprise. What You’ll Get to Do:

In furtherance of its Global Services initiative, the Sponsor requires a Cybersecurity Project Engineer who will provide support in the domain of information security digital technologies. This effort will support the assessment and authorization efforts by reviewing and writing systems design specifications and interfaces, updating systems security plans, and modifying contingency test plans to ensure the highest standard of information security.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Identifying all systems assets and submitting tickets for scanning

  • Reviewing and updating systems security plan questionnaires

  • Providing compliance insight, guidance, and training for new systems implementations

  • Assisting project teams with documenting NIST Special Publication 800-53 Revision 4 security controls

  • Monitoring and assisting project teams to resolve approved Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms)

  • Assisting with testing of information systems security controls and documenting test results

  • Participating in technical meetings with security representatives and project teams

  • Providing guidance to project teams on security and compliance, including cloud security

  • Supporting Sponsor program activities, including identification of issues that impede the Sponsor’s desire to modernize, advance, and transform its security practices

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Framework

  • Familiarity with NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171 security controls

  • Experience with security practices and procedures

  • Knowledge of cloud systems design

  • Thorough understanding of IT architectural concepts and frameworks

  • Knowledge of privacy data security control implementation and implications to a system

  • Knowledge and experience with information systems security policies and practices, and computer science and state-of-the-art security tools and applications

Education & Experience Required:

  • 10 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma

  • 8 Years of job related experience and Associates degree

  • 4-7 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree

  • 3 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree

  • 2 Years of job related experience and Doctorate

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience with security policy (technical, personnel, and facilities)

  • Experience with legal requirements

  • Experience with identifying and recommending potential cybersecurity solutions to clients

Work Hours: Core hours: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
